Titans News: Derrick Henry reacts to agreeing to deal with Ravens

Once the Tennessee Titans agreed to terms with running back Tony Pollard, that sealed the deal that running back Derrick Henry wasn’t coming back. However, it didn’t take him long to find a new home. According to multiple reports, the Baltimore Ravens have agreed to terms with Henry on a two-year, $16 million deal that has a max value of $20 million and includes $9 million guaranteed in the first year. We haven’t seen the total breakdown of either contract yet, but the Titans’ deal with Pollard is the same annual average on its face as Henry’s is with Baltimore. Of course, these are two totally different backs and simply saying “why didn’t the Titans just bring Henry back if it was the same price” is much more complicated than that. He had to want to come back, and the Titans had to want him back, also. It remains unclear how things transpired there, but my guess is the parting of ways was mutual. Henry didn’t take long to take to Twitter to confirm the deal. Flock Nation I swea it’s up !
