While NFL fans’ attention is currently fixed to free agency, teams are still doing their work preparing for the upcoming 2024 draft. That includes the Seahawks, who will have some work to do going in. Before signing Rayshawn Jenkins yesterday they had two starters each to replace at guard, linebacker and safety, to name just a few needs. They won’t be able to address all of them in free agency, so we should expect them to target some prospects at those spots. One of them will be making an official top-30 visit soon. According to Justin Melo at the Draft Network, UTEP linebacker Tyrice Knight is visiting with the Seahawks as well as the Giants. #UTEP LB Tyrice Knight has upcoming Top 30 visits with the New York Giants and Seattle Seahawks, per sources. Knight (6-foot-1, 233 pounds) played 45 games in college, racking up 390 tackles, 8.5 sacks, 32 tackles for a loss, 16 pass breakups, two interceptions and four forced fumbles. At the combine Knight showed off a wide range of physical characteristics, posting an 8.24 relative athletic score.
