We always make a big deal out of the Senior Bowl and Shrine Bowl while gearing up for the NFL draft, and for good reason: the New Orleans Saints scout these events heavily. Seeing prospects competing against their peers means a lot to Mickey Loomis, Jeff Ireland, and their college scouting department. So how many rookies in the 2024 class were participants?Of the Saints’ seven draft picks, all but two participated in one of the two major all-star games. Second-round cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry was an underclassman while fifth-round linebacker Jaylan Ford declined his invitation to the Senior Bowl.
