All of the players invited to try out at Saints rookie minicamp

Friday brings a big opportunity for a lot of players — the New Orleans Saints will join half the NFL in starting their rookie minicamp, giving dozens of first-year pros and journeymen free agents a chance to try out and earn a spot on the training camp roster. While this these three days of practices are emphasized on the Saints’ draft picks and rookie free agent signings, there will also be some veteran free agents trying out in hopes of continuing their careers.And we should expect the Saints to sign a couple of players afterwards. They always find two or three players in these tryouts who stick around for training camp, and occasionally one of them makes the practice squad or even the 53-man roster when the season starts. It’s a tough path to take to the NFL, and they’ll all be working hard to go the distance.We’ll keep an eye out for the Saints announcing their final list of rookie camp tryouts, but for now here are all of the names that have been reported:
