In the third quarter of the two teams’ Week 16 primetime matchup, Ezekiel Elliott scored on a 15-yard catch-and-run that also saw the veteran running back hurdle over a defender on his way toward this end zone. That said, the biggest play of the series from a yardage perspective came courtesy of another rookie. Earlier on the drive, Bailey Zappe found sixth-round wide receiver Demario Douglas deep for a 41-yard pickup — one of the Patriots’ longest plays of the season.
