The New England Patriots throw it back this Sunday at Gillette Stadium against the Los Angeles Chargers as 4.5-point underdogs in Week 13, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. Bailey Zappe is set to get his first start this season as the Pats don their throwback reds against the visitors from the west. Here are some prop bets we like while you follow along with the action. Hunter Henry, Over 2.5 Receptions (-125): Henry will be one of the top healthy targets for the Patriots on Sunday, and the safety blanket should see a lot of action with a young QB starting. Keenan Allen, Over 0.5 Receiving TD (+134): Somehow, we didn’t hit with the Saquon Barkley Anytime TD bet last week. So, we’re doubling down and taking Keenan Allen at the same odds. The Chargers have some fancy red zone concepts designed to get Allen open, and the Patriots don’t have a great matchup for him in the secondary. Austin Ekeler, Under 52.5 Rushing Yards (-125): While New England’s passing defense has struggled as of late, their rush defense ranks at the top of the NFL in EPA per play. Expect the Patriots to tighten up when the Chargers try to attack them on the ground with a rushing attack that his struggled this season. Bailey Zappe, Under 0.5 Passing TDs (+175): Plus money to bet on a backup QB not passing for a touchdown when he’s missing key receivers? Yes, please. We should see a heavy dose of the running game on Sunday with Zappe starting and Pop Douglas and Kayshon Boutte joining Kendrick Bourne in missing this due to injury.
