Patriots News: How NFL experts graded the Patriots' selection of WR Ja'Lynn Polk

The New England Patriots went the unexpected route of drafting Washington wide receiver Ja’Lynn Polk in the second round, and the move has mostly been met with mixed reviews.Polk isn’t the burner on the outside who’s going to take the top off opposing defenses, but then again, he’s a fierce competitor with strong hands and the ability to consistently win jump-ball situations. There’s no flash to his game, but at his core, he is a really good football player.Perhaps good could turn to great at the next level. The Patriots took Polk with the No. 37 overall pick after trading down from No. 34 with the Los Angeles Chargers. Their hope was to pair their rookie quarterback, Drake Maye, with a playmaking receiver to grow with in the offense. The opinions on the likelihood of that all coming together successfully appears mixed. There were also other notable options on the draft board, including Michigan’s Roman Wilson and Texas’ Adonai Mitchell. Here’s how NFL experts graded the Patriots for using a second-round pick on Polk:
