Shaq, Others Staying: Some Visiting

Carolina reworked Shaq Thompson's deal and it may come with him returning to his old number.  Thompson will be around this year after a re-do on his deal, and he tok to social media to discuss maybe moving off #7 (possibly for cash - a lot of new guys are moving through, and single digit numbers are rare). Others, too, are likely to stay.   The roster bonus deadline for OT Taylor Moton, RB Miles Sanders have been untouched, and while Moton wasn't going anywhere, Sanders was less certain.  Now, from the guys with roster bonuses and guaranteed salary, Sanders is the only one that stayed (add in last year's Shy Tuttle on guaranteed money but he didn't have bonus this March).  Ian Thomas restructured, Bradley Bozeman, Vonn Bell, and Hayden Hurst were all cut.
WRs Michael Gallup and Mike Williams will visit, and both are likely to look around.

Williams, 6'4, 218 is providing something that the rest of the group in Carolina can't - size.  He's a jump ball specialist, though Carolina seems to be dying for route runners more than post-ups. He has 62 starts since 2017, 309 rec and 31 TD, but only played 3 games last year.    He's been a career Charger up to now. Gallup, a 2018 3rd rounder for Dallas, spent his whole career there. 6'1, 200, he's got 67 starts, 266 rec, 21 scores.   He's two years off a 5 year, $62.5 million extension but like with Williams and his second deal, has not shown up as well after signing for various reasons.
