He had it for the rare highs and flashes of brilliance, and he also had it for the constant bad and stupifying moments on the field. It did not take long for players to forget about Wilson, as cornerback D.J. Reed asked fans about switching to Wilson’s old number a mere hour after the trade was announced. Taylor taking the number solidifies the new era the Jets are heading into. They have new jerseys and new branding. Aaron Rodgers is returning, and the team has added key contributors in free agency and the draft.
