A roller coaster engulfed in flames, the 2023 season has been hard to watch more often than it has been fun to watch, and now we’ve reached its final week. As is only appropriate, it’s a meaningful game between the Atlanta Falcons and Saints. If the Panthers can take care of business against the Buccaneers—hardly a guarantee—the winner of this one will win the NFC South and head to the playoffs as the fourth seed. If nothing else, Atlanta has a chance to go 2-0 against the Saints for the first time in a long while, which should be one of the major goals of any season. Beyond this is a long offseason, one where we’ll learn the fate of the coaching staff, the team’s plans for turning over the quarterback position, and how the Falcons will bolster a roster that still needs help.
