Falcons-Bears Week 17 injury report: Kaleb McGary questionable to play

Image Todd Kirkland/Getty Images A look at Friday’s practice reports. Friday is here, as the Atlanta Falcons held their final practice of the week before they go on the road and face the Chicago Bears. We’ve been monitoring the health of both teams all week and we now have the best insight on who may or may not play on Sunday. You can expect to see the injury reports here every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Atlanta Falcons Full Participation • DL David Onyemata (ankle) • LB Lorenzo Carter (neck) • QB Taylor Heinicke (ankle) • RG Chris Lindstrom (ankle) • C Drew Dalman (ankle) • LT Jake Matthews (knee) Limited Participation • RT Kaleb McGary (knee) QUESTIONABLE Did Not Practice • N/A Chicago Bears Full Participation • OL Tevin Jenkins (concussion) • LB Noah Sewell (knee) • WR Equanimeous St. Brown (pectoral) Limited Participation • OL Lucas Patrick (knee) QUESTIONABLE • TE Cole Kmet (knee) QUESTIONABLE Did Not Practice • WR Darnell Mooney (concussion) OUT For the Falcons, their offensive line is ready to roll in Week 17, as everyone logged a full practice on Friday except for Kaleb McGary, who was limited. His status for Sunday is questionable, and if he’s unable to go again, expect to see Storm Norton out there replacing him. We might actually see McGary out there for the first time in weeks, though. Also, Taylor Heinicke, who was limited due to an ankle issue during the week, will play and start again for the Falcons Sunday. The Bears have officially ruled out receiver Darnell Mooney, and have listed Lucas Patrick and Cole Kmet as questionable to play against the Falcons. Losing Mooney would take away a useful receiver, but the loss of Kmet would be much more significant for Chicago, given that the team struggles to cover tight ends.
