Eagles 53-man roster prediction following 2024 rookie minicamp

The 2024 NFL draft is behind us, and all eyes are turning to the Philadelphia Eagles’ busy slate of offseason workouts. These lead up to training camp, preseason, and a brutal round of roster cuts before the season starts in September. The Eagles have a nearly full roster after signing seven undrafted free agents, including Laekin Vakalahi, who’ll be exempt from a roster spot as the team’s representative in the International Pathway Program. After the team placed offensive tackle Le’Raven Clark on injured reserve, they have eight unsigned draft picks: rookie Johnny Wilson, who signed his contract, and Vakalahi. Philadelphia now has roster space for one player ahead of the looming OTA sessions, mandatory minicamp, and July’s training camp. Philadelphia had the lightest OTA workload of any team in the league, but that’ll now change last season’s collapse. The Eagles are changing their offseason program, including adding a mandatory minicamp for the first time under Nick Sirianni. They will have 7 OTAs (May 20, May 22-23, May 28, May 30-31) and three days of mandatory minicamp (June 4-6). In 2022 and 2023, they had six total OTAs.With the May 20th OTAs fast approaching, we’re unveiling our initial 53-man roster prediction.
