In his eight-year career, Thomas has recorded 565 receptions for 6,569 yards and 36 touchdowns. However, since suffering an ankle injury in 2020, he’s played in just 13 games over the last three seasons, recording 55 receptions for 619 yards and four touchdowns. The Dolphins do need to acquire some depth at the position behind Hill and Jaylen Waddle, so taking a flier on Thomas might not be a bad idea, but if they do, they shouldn’t count on him to be the team’s third wideout.
