Dolphins News: Updated Dolphins 2024 draft picks after the NFL changes comp picks

Less than a week ago, the NFL released the compensatory picks, meaning the order for the 2024 NFL draft was set. That was until the league decided to send out a notice days later that they were changing one of the Cincinnati Bengals’ compensatory picks from a sixth-round pick to a third. The NFL just announced an update to its compensatory picks in the 2024 NFL Draft, with the most notable change that the Bengals have now been awarded an extra 3rd round pick (97th overall) instead of one of the two 6th round picks it had been previously awarded. — Field Yates (@FieldYates) March 11, 2024 That means, that for every team picking from No. 97 to their original pick in the sixth round, including the Miami Dolphins, their picks would move back one spot. Now, that the order is officially set, let’s take a look at where the Dolphins will be picking in this April’s draft:

• Round 1: No. 21 overall
• Round 2: No. 55 overall
• Round 5: No. 158 overall
• Round 6: No. 184 overall (from CHI)
• Round 6: No. 198 overall
• Round 7: No. 241 overall

Miami’s third-round selection (which would’ve been No. 86 overall) was forfeited and their fourth-round pick (No. 121) was traded to the Denver Broncos for linebacker Bradley Chubb.
