Almost every NFL team had a decision to make by a Thursday afternoon deadline.Before 4 p.m. ET on May 2, teams had to decide whether they’d pick up the fifth-year option on the rookie contracts of players picked in the first round of the 2021 NFL draft. For some teams, like the Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars, that meant decisions on multiple players.
