Dolphins News: Report: Dolphins to sign former Bills DB Siran Neal

The Miami Dolphins returned special teams coordinator Danny Crossman for 2024, but with his two aces, Justin Bethel and Keion Crossen, hitting the market the team clearly had a need to add a core special teamer. On Tuesday, the team addressed that with the signing of defensive back Siran Neal, according to ESPN’s Marcel Louis-Jacques. Neal, 29, was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL draft following a collegiate career with Jacksonville State. In the NFL, he’s appeared in 97 games, recording 115 tackles (four for a loss), five passes defensed, three quarterback hits, three forced fumbles and two fumbles recovered. Neal likely won’t be a huge contributor on defense, but he should provide valuable snaps on special teams.
