State Affair? UT's Jonathon Brooks seems a right time, right place Cowboys' draft pck

Thinking that perception is reality, several 2023 mock drafts envisioned a world where Bijan Robinson, the all-world running back out of Texas, made his way down to the Cowboys selection in the first round. Running backs aren’t to be picked in the first round, several said. April came around and not only was Robinson a top-10 pick, but Alabama’s Jahmyr Gibbs was gone in the top-15 as well. A year later, it doesn’t seem like there’s a running back talent on their level, but Robinson’s former teammate Johnathon Brooks is appearing on top of several draftnik’s running back rankings, and is being shipped to the Cowboys more often than not.And while it feels unlikely the Cowboys would make Brooks the pick at No. 24, it also feels unlikely 55 teams are going to bypass a running back in order for him to fall to Dallas’ second-round selection. Why? Here’s a full evaluation of his film, what he does best and what he could bring to the Cowboys if the two entities can unite.
