Cowboys DT Neville Gallimore to sign with Miami

The defensive defection in Dallas continued Wednesday. This time, it was defensive tackle Neville Gallimore, who has agreed to a new contract with Miami, as first reported by NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport. The 27-year-old will accept what’s said to be a one-year deal to join the Dolphins, who ranked as a top-10 unit in yards allowed last season and finished third leaguewide in both quarterback sacks and pressures. Gallimore was a third-round draft pick by the Cowboys in 2020 out of Oklahoma. The Canadian-born big man got into 14 games as a rookie and then saw action in 41 more (including playoffs) over four seasons with the club.
