The Dallas Cowboys are coming off their third consecutive 12-win season, but things are not copasetic in Cowboys Nation. A lack of free agency additions plus an exodus of several starters has fans distraught over what now appears to be a lame-duck season for key members of the organization. Dak Prescott is entering the final year of his deal and has not seen an extension that would’ve created cap space to sign other players. Head coach Mike McCarthy had to add a new defensive coordinator in Mike Zimmer after Dan Quinn finally took a head coaching gig after flirting the previous hiring cycles.Both McCarthy and Zimmer have one year to prove their worth. With just the draft and third-tier free agency remaining, the Cowboys aren’t going to be adding many players who will truly have an impact for 2024 and as such, the betting world doesn’t believe they’ll be able to duplicate their performance of the last three seasons.
