The Cowboys have been on a tremendous draft run since Will McCla ascended to the top chair in the scouting department. Since 2013, way more often than not Dallas has nailed their first-round pick. That doesn’t mean they haven’t made any mistakes, and they certainly weren’t batting at such a high average prior to the last decade.In fact, there’s been quite a few face palms served up on draft day in year’s past. Here’s a review of some of the most egregious selections Dallas has made since Jerry Jones purchased the team and conducted his first draft in 1989.
