Image Photo by Ric Tapia/Getty Images Injury updates The Washington Commanders are coming off a loss to the San Francisco 49ers. They have one more game left in the season. Next up is a home game against the Dallas Cowboys. Ron Rivera named Sam Howell the starting QB today. Jacoby Brissett was supposed to get his first start of the season last week but he suffered a hamstring injury last Thursday. He was limited in today’s practice. Brissett was the emergency 3rd-string QB last week, and could have that same role again on Sunday with Jake Fromm backing up Howell. #DALvsWAS | #HTTC— Washington Commanders (@Commanders) January 3, 2024 Image DNP DT Jonathan Allen - Missed practice with a knee injury CB Kendall Fuller - Didn’t play last week with a knee injury CB Tariq Castro-Fields - Suffered a shoulder injury vs the 49ers CB Christian Holmes - Suffered a concussion vs the 49ers Limited QB Jacoby Brissett - Suffered a hamstring injury during practice last week DB Quan Martin - Limited with a chest injury OT Andrew Wylie - Suffered an elbow injury vs the Jets, missed the 49ers game CB Benjamin St-Juste- Suffered a concussion vs the Jets, missed the 49ers game DT John Ridgeway - Suffered a foot injury weeks ago Full S Kam Curl - Listed with a quad injury WR Curtis Samuel - Listed with a hamstring injury DE Casey Toohill - Listed with a shoulder injury No injury listed RB Brian Robinson - Retuned from a hamstring injury last week
