ESPN’s Mel Kiper released a new two-round mock draft on Wednesday, where he has the Indianapolis Colts addressing their two biggest positional needs. This is a mock draft that did include three trades, and while I do think the Colts could be a prime trade-down candidate in the first round, Kiper has them staying put–and understandably so, considering who they were able to select.Following free agency and as we look ahead to the NFL Draft, which is now just over two weeks away, I detailed the Colts’ five biggest positions of need, which include cornerback, receiver, and safety. Here is a quick breakdown of how Kiper’s mock draft turned out for the Colts, along with my thoughts on each selection and some highlights of each prospect.
