Chargers-Bills Final Score: Chargers 21, Bills 24

Image Photo by Katelyn Mulcahy/Getty Images The Chargers got five field goals from Cameron Dicker who staked a strong case to be voted to this year’s Pro Bowl. The Chargers came into Saturday night’s game against the Bills with all the odds against them. They were down their starting quarterback and their top two centers. They were led by an interim head coach in his first game in any role higher than a position coach. Yet, they competed. Despite recording three takeaways, the Chargers fell just short to the Bills 24-22 on Saturday night. Easton Stick played a clean game with no turnovers on 23-of-33 passing for 210 yards and no touchdowns. Austin Ekeler looked revitalized, rushing for 65 yards on 15 attempts (4.3 YPC). He also added three catches for 23 yards. Joshua Palmer led all the team with 47 receiving yards while Gerald Everett caught a team-high seven receptions. Derwin James led the defense with eight total tackles. Eric Kendricks and Tuli Tuipulotu split the team’s only sack of the night. Cameron Dicker converted all five of his field goal attempts, including a 53-yarder to give them a late 22-21 lead. The Chargers will be on the road in Denver next Sunday to face the Broncos on December 31st.
