Contract details, salary cap breakdown for DL Bilal Nichols plus totals for eight players

The official numbers are in on the three-year contract agreed to by new Cardinals defensive lineman Bilal Nichols. The total value is $21 million with $12 million fully guaranteed and another $2.39 million guaranteed only for injury at the time of signing. He will also receive a $6 million signing bonus. The base salaries are $2.7 million guaranteed in 2024, $5.69 million in 2025 and $5.695 million in 2026. The $2.39 injury-only guarantee is for his 2025 salary and it becomes fully guaranteed if Nichols is on the roster on the fifth day of the 2025 league year. Identical to the contracts of defensive lineman Justin Jones, cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting and running back DeeJay Dallas, there are $15,000 per-game roster bonuses each year that total $255,000 for all 17 games plus a $50,000 workout bonus each year. The cap charges are $5.005 million this year, $7.995 million in 2025 and $8 million in 2026. The eight players with known contract information (the above four mentioned plus defensive end L.J. Collier, wide receiver Greg Dortch, tackle Carter O’Donnell and linebacker Jessee Luketa) have contracts totaling $90.233 million with $53.365 million fully guaranteed, $8.085 million guaranteed for injury only and combined signing bonuses of $22.75 million. Last year, 21 players signed or re-signed by the Cardinals from the start of the league year until the draft totaled $63.826 million with $27.514 million guaranteed and $15.070 million of total signing bonuses. Official contract information is not yet available for linebacker Krys Barnes, long snapper Aaron Brewer, center/guard Trystan Colon, punter Blake Gillikin, cornerback Bobby Price and guard Elijah Wilkinson.
