Bucs News: Buccaneers at Packers: Predictions and staff picks for Week 15

Image Photo by Michael Owens/Getty Images Which staff member will nail their prediction this week? As the Buccaneers get ready to play the Packers on Sunday, we here at Bucs Nation are ready to drop some predictions for Week 15. Tampa Bay is currently a 3.5-point underdog via DraftKings Sportsbook. Our staff weighs in with their predictions for the Bucs game and picks for the rest of the NFL’s Week 15 games. Staff Predictions Gil Arcia: It Continues The Buccaneers defense has been making quarterbacks look like All-Pros as of late. After giving up almost 350 yards through the air last week to Desmond Ridder, much of the same can be seen this week. Look for Jordan Love to throw for nearly 350 yards, three touchdowns, and no picks. James Yarcho: Win The Battle, Win The War Baker Mayfield had a not-so-nice run of turning the ball over over the last few weeks - up until they played Atlanta. While he didn’t look great, he didn’t give the Falcons any bonus possessions either and that may have decided the game. This week will be more of the same. The Bucs’ offense will protect the ball all day while the defense forces three takeaways - and gets a score for the second straight week. Mike Kiwak: Fortune Found The Buccaneers have just one defensive touchdown this year, and it came all the way back in Week 2 thanks to a Shaq Barrett pick six. There’s been a couple close ones, but this week is finally when the defense breaks through for some points on the board. I’ll tab rookie Christian Izien as the catalyst, recording a pick six to give Tampa a fighting chance on the road. Will Walsh: Bucs ride into Green Bay on a ‘White horse’ The Green Bay Packers’ run defense is one of the worst in the league. The Tampa Bay Bucs, under Todd Bowles, have salivated for a running game that could carry them. Last week, against Atlanta, the Buccaneers’ rushing attack netted nearly 150 yards and a touchdown. This week, expect more of the same. The Bucs will make a concerted effort to feature Rachaad White as the engine of their offense and based on his play in recent weeks, expect White to deliver. 25 touches, 120 yards.
