Bucs at Packers Thursday Injury Report: 2 Starters Return

The Bucs had a laundry list of injured players on Wednesday with head coach Todd Bowles mentioning eight Tampa Bay players that did not practice during the team’s walkthrough. The Bucs were missing defensive tackle Vita Vea and inside linebacker Devin White in last week’s game at Atlanta with toe and foot injuries, respectively. White missed two games with his ailing foot. Cornerback Jamel Dean was limited on Wednesday after missing three straight games with his foot and ankle injury. Would there be any improvement for the Bucs on Thursday leading up to Sunday’s game at Green Bay? Tampa Bay held a regular full practice on Thursday and saw the full return to action for both Dean and White. Whether or not Dean and White will wind up starting if they are able to play is unknown. Britt played better than White has in weeks in last week’s win at Atlanta where he had a career-high eight tackles and a pass breakup. If Dean returns but Carlton Davis III is unable to go with his groin strain, McCollum might stay in the starting lineup, replacing Davis this week. While the Bucs saw two starters return to action on Thursday, Tampa Bay is still missing two more starters due to injury – in addition to Davis and Vea. Safety Ryan Neal remained out with a back injury and wide receiver Chris Godwin, who has been battling a neck injury, didn’t participate again with a knee injury. Defensive tackle Will Gholston remained out with his knee and ankle injuries, and long snapper  Zach Triner continued to miss practice due to his elbow injury.
