• Browns Roster: Breaking down the 7 tryout players participating in rookie minicamp (Matt Wilson) - Rookie mini camp is finally here for the Cleveland Browns and in addition to the team’s draft picks and UDFA signings, they’ve brought in seven players to compete on a tryout basis this weekend. Here is a breakdown of each player.
• Browns announce 5 draft picks, 7 undrafted free agent signings (Jared Mueller) - The Cleveland Browns opened rookie minicamp on Friday by signing all but one of their 2024 NFL Draft picks.
• Browns add another UDFA Friday afternoon (Jared Mueller) - The Cleveland Browns added wide receiver Ahmarean Brown as an undrafted free agent on Friday afternoon.
• Browns roster positional preview: Tight end (Matt Wilson) - OTA’s (Organized team activities) begin for the Cleveland Browns on May 21, which marks the first time the entire team has an opportunity to work together. Before that time comes, it’s important to take a look at each of Cleveland’s position groups and today we dive into the tight ends.

According to the SOS system that factors in the 2023 records for all teams, the Browns have the toughest strength of schedule in the NFL.

NFL:

• Bears coach Matt Eberflus names Caleb Williams starting quarterback (NFL.com) - To the surprise of absolutely no one, the Chicago Bears have named No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams their starting quarterback entering 2024. Coach Matt Eberflus took care of the obvious Friday, delivering a no-nonsense response when asked who his starter is at this point in the offseason.
• Dallas Cowboys hope Cooper Beebe continues to ‘dirt’ opponents (ESPN) - The phrase is not in the Dallas Cowboys’ scouting language just yet, but if it ever is, they can thank 2024 third-round pick Cooper Beebe. On a conference call after he was drafted, Beebe, a Kansas State offensive lineman, was asked to describe his playing style.
• Falcons’ Raheem Morris looking for ‘best version of Kyle Pitts’ (The Atlanta Journal-Constitution) - One of the Atlanta Falcons’ major offseason moves was to pick up the $10.8 million fifth-year option on tight end Kyle Pitts. “He’s very excited about being healthy, and so are we,” Falcons coach Raheem Morris said Friday. “Getting a healthy Kyle Pitts gives you a really dynamic player that we believe in a lot. Hence, the picking up of his option (and) letting him be a part of our immediate and hopefully our long-term future.”
