Washington wide receiver Ja’Lynn Polk was given to the Cleveland Browns in a recent mock draft. Come the 2024 NFL draft, this pairing could be more than just good on paper. In Draft Wire’s most recent two-round mock, Polk was once again sent to the Browns. Outside of Amari Cooper a year ago, the rest of the Browns’ wide receiver room underachieved. While there are still high hopes for the likes of Cedric Tillman and Elijah Moore, there is no doubt that the backend of that room needs to be overhauled. After transferring to Washington from Texas Tech, Polk had a career year for the National Champion runner-up Huskies. He racked up a massive 1,159 yards and nine touchdowns on 69 catches in 2023, sharing targets with both Rome Odunze and Jalen McMillan. As the Senior Bowl wraps up this weekend, the 2024 NFL draft season is underway with the NFL Scouting Combine up next at the end of the month.
