The Denver Broncos have a great history of signing undrafted free agent gems, and that trend appears to be continuing in 2024. After the draft wrapped up on Saturday, NFL.com’s Chad Reuter published his list of the top UDFAs available. So far, the Broncos have signed the No. 1 running back (Blake Watson), the No. 1 offensive tackle (Frank Crum) and the third-ranked safety (Omar Brown). It’s no surprise that Watson, Crum and Brown are Denver’s highest-paid UDFAs this year. Each of them received $250,000 guaranteed. NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein expected all three players to be drafted. He had Brown projected in the fifth or sixth, Crum in the sixth and Watson in the sixth or seventh. Given their rankings and high salaries, Watson, Crum and Brown appear to be the early favorites among the team’s UDFAs to make the 53-man roster in 2024.
