Buffalo Bills Live Free Agency Tracker (2024)

The legal tampering period opened at 12:00 PM EST today and, for the Buffalo Bills, they are working with very minimal cap space. As we sit right now, Spotrac has them at $-12M over the salary cap. Obviously, they have some hurdles to work through to be cap compliant before Wednesday, but they will still be active in free agency as they try to replace some of the veterans they lost. Let’s get right into their signings this year. OL Dion Dawkins The three year/$60.5M extension is expected to make Dawkins the fourth highest paid tackle in the league. Dawkins has been a cornerstone of the Bills OL, and is a three time Pro Bowler. DB Cam Lewis The Bills signed Cam Lewis to a two year/$4M deal on Monday, keeping depth in their secondary. Lewis provided versatility to the secondary, playing both CB and Safety in his career. Image DE AJ Epenesa The Bills signed AJ Epenesa to a two year contract on Wednesday that’s worth $7M in his first year, and a max value of $20M, per Mike Garafolo, locking up their pass rusher. Epenesa had a career year last year, totaling 6.5 sacks, and two INTs. QB Josh Allen Allen restructured his contract to save $16M in cap space, converting his base salary into a signing bonus. This now puts the Bills under the salary cap by $4M, per Spotrac. The #Bills converted $14.875M of QB Josh Allen's salary plus a $6M roster bonus into signing bonus, clearing $16.7M of cap space.https://t.co/cSaSOXPhMJ— Spotrac (@spotrac) March 11, 2024 DT Daquan Jones The Bills get back another one of their DL, re-signing Daquan Jones to a two year/$18M deal overnight. Jones totaled 16 tackles and 2.5 sacks in seven games last year. LB Nicholas Morrow The Bills signed Morrow to a one year deal on Tuesday, marking the first outside signing made by the Bills during the tampering period. Morrow last played for the Philadelphia Eagles, where he was the defensive play caller. WR Mack Hollins Hollins comes over to the Bills after one season with the Atlanta Falcons, ESPN announced Wednesday morning. In 2022, Hollins totaled 690 yards and four TDs with the Las Vegas Raiders. RB Ty Johnson The Bills are bringing back Ty Johnson on a one year deal, ESPN reported Thursday morning. Johnson finished the season with 132 rushing yards on 30 attempts, giving Bills fans hope for what the future may hold for him on offense, and special teams.
