Bills News: Bills re-sign Ty Johnson to one-year deal

Ty Johnson has re-upped with the Buffalo Bills. According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Johnson has re-signed with the Bills. Full terms of the deal have yet to be announced but The Athletic notes that it’s a one-year deal: Bills have agreed to a one-year deal to re-sign RB Ty Johnson, according to a source.@JFowlerESPN on it first — Joe Buscaglia (@JoeBuscaglia) March 14, 2024 Johnson originally signed a one-year deal with the team late last offseason. In 10 games played in 2023, Johnson finished with 30 carries and 132 yards (4.4 avg) but his larger threat was in the passing game. There he had seven catches for 62 yards and a touchdown which came on a fourth-down attempt. In his year in Buffalo, Johnson’s usage went alongside Joe Brady. Once he took over as offensive coordinator, his usage increased. Moving forward, that could continue to trend in the same direction as well. Latavius Murray and Damien Harris are both unsigned free agents who were on the roster last year. Follow Bills Wire’s free agency tracker for all updates throughout the coming days.
