The Chicago Bears are gearing up for their home finale against the Atlanta Falcons, and they still have a slim chance at sneaking into that final wild card spot. But it won’t be easy, and Chicago will likely be eliminated from postseason contention regardless of the outcome of their game against Atlanta. One thing’s for certain — they’d have to win or tie to even have a chance. The Bears are one of 10 teams capable of being eliminated in Week 17. According to nflplayoffscenarios.com, Chicago can be eliminated in six different ways this week:

• Bears loss/tie
• OR Seahawks win/tie + Rams win/tie
• OR Seahawks win/tie + Packers win
• OR Seahawks win/tie + Vikings win
• OR Rams win/tie + Packers win
• OR Rams win/tie + Vikings win

The Bears’ slim postseason hopes rest with the Seattle Seahawks (who host the Pittsburgh Steelers) and the Los Angeles Rams (who face the New York Giants).
