Photo by Perry Knotts/Getty Images How to bet the Monday Night Football games We get a trio of presents to unwrap on Monday, starting with the Las Vegas Raiders at the Kansas City Chiefs. Chiefs are double digit favorites but I think the Raiders can keep it entertaining. The afternoon game features the Philadelphia Eagles hosting the New York Giants in a must-have, get healthy game. They are also double digit favorites and while I could see the Eagles running away with that one, the Giants have at least been competent lately so I’ll say they can keep it inside of the 13.5 point spread. The headliner here is the night game. The Baltimore Ravens, currently the number one seed in the AFC, traveling west to take on the San Francisco 49ers, the number one seed in the NFC. Whoa. This is a gift. This could be a Super Bowl preview in Week 16! It’s lucky that we’re getting this game so late in the slate. There are only two games remaining after this week between an AFC and an NFC team and none in Week 18 so this is about as late as it can go. I love this match up. Both teams are playing the best football we’ve seen all year and given the prime time slot on a holiday, this thing is going to be hyped like a blockbuster. In fact, I think whoever wins this one will clinch the MVP for their QB, with an outside chance of Christian McCaffrey stealing the spotlight. This is a game that I personally will not bet because I just want to see what happens, but I do think the Ravens can and will hang with the 49ers. Break out the leftover cookies and enjoy the last gift of the holiday season.
