Bears Reacts Survey: Confidence check and what are your thoughts on Eberflus?

Image Photo by Quinn Harris/Getty Images Three questions in this weeks SB Nation Reacts Bears survey! Vote here: Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Chicago Bears fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys. The Chicago Bears are playing better football. That can’t be denied. They’ve won three of four and five of their last eight, and suddenly this team is knocking on the door of the playoff hunt. There are still six teams they’d have to leapfrog for the seventh and final NFC seed, which is why they aren’t quite making the network’s “In The Hunt” graphics. But there’s a glimmer of hope now, and a win in Cleveland on Sunday would make things interesting. The vibe around this team has changed, and what seemed like a no-doubt-about-it house cleaning was on the horizon, now seems like head coach Matt Eberflus has a shot to return. Make sure you vote in this week’s confidence survey but also pay attention to the other questions this week before blindly clicking.
  • Do you think the Chicago Bears will retain Matt Eberflus as head coach for the 2024 season?
Whether it’s general manager Ryan Poles, team president Kevin Warren, or the McCaskey family making the call, they certainly have more to think about after the last couple of months. Things could change in these last four games, but right now, do you think ‘Flus is back?
  • Do you want Matt Eberflus to return as head coach of the Chicago Bears in 2024?
I’ve been looking toward a new head coach in 2024 for a while now, but you’ve got to give Eberflus credit for keeping his locker room united. His defense has played much better since the Montez Sweat acquisition, but he’s also been mixing things up with his play calls to keep offenses guessing.
