The Chicago Bears handled the Detroit Lions for 56 minutes a few weeks ago, but we all know what happened in those final four minutes. They got conservative on both sides of the ball, and a late fumble sealed the loss. Yesterday, Chicago jumped out to a 10-0 first-quarter lead, only to have the Lions storm back to score the next thirteen points for a 13-10 lead heading into the half. Matt Eberflus' squad hasn't been known for being able to adjust, so I assumed there'd just be more Detroit points on the way in the third quarter. But the Lions went three and out, and the Bears tied it up. In the second half, the Bears adjusted, they overcame some adversity, they stayed aggressive, and they closed out the game. Has Eberflus' squad evolved? In the game, the Bears had more total yards (336 to 267), more first downs (20 to 13), the time of possession edge (33:19 to 26:41), and they won the turnover battle (3 to 0). Each team was 1-2 on fourth down tries, but Chicago had a slight edge on third down conversions, 6-14 (42.9%) to 6-15 (40.0%). The Lions were penalized 8 times for 59 yards to 4 for 35 for the Bears. Now, let's look at the Bears' playing time breakdowns and a few individual stats. OFFENSE
Justin made some plays with his arm and his legs, he also missed a few layups that I'm sure he'd like to have back, but he had zero turnovers. He was 19 of 33 passing (57.6%) for 223 yards and 1 touchdown, good for a passer rating of 88.3. He added 12 runs for 58 yards and another TD. DJ Moore wasn't targeted once in the first half, but he ended up with 10 targets, 6 catches, 68 yards, and 1 TD, and he also had 3 rushes for 20 yards and a TD. Cole Kmet had 5 receptions for 66 yards. D'Onta Foreman had 50 rushing yards on 11 carries and 22 yards receiving on 2 catches. DEFENSE 
Jaquan Brisker was all over the field with 17 tackles, 2 passes defended, and a forced fumble. Montez Sweat had 5 tackles, a sack, a PD, and 4 QB hits. Per Bears PR...- Jaquan Brisker's 17 tackles were the most in a game by a a Bears DB dating back to at least 1960.

Justin Jones, the Bears nomination for Walter Payton Man of the Year, had 5 tackles, a sack and a half, and a TFL. T.J. Edwards had 4 tackles, a TFL, a fumble recovery, and a PD. Yannick Ngakoue had 3 tackles, a sack, and a TFL. Jaylon Johnson had a tackle and an interception. Gervon Dexter Sr. had a tackle and a half of sack. Tyrique Stevenson had 5 tackles and a PD.
