NFL Week 15 Odds: Browns open as a 3 point home favorite against the Bears

Image Photo by Frank Jansky/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images We check in on the early odds for the Chicago Bears at the Cleveland Browns game. The Chicago Bears pulled off the upset earlier today to get their record to (5-8) by beating the division-leading Lions. It was head coach Matt Eberflus’ first-ever back-to-back victories, and with five wins in their last nine, Chicago is suddenly relevantish in the NFC wild-card race. It’s still an uphill battle, but a win on Sunday, December 17, against the playoff-contending (8-5) Cleveland Browns, and things could get really get interesting. According to our partners at DraftKings Sportsbook, the Browns are a 3-point home favorite in their week fifteen matchup against the Bears, with the over/under for the game at 38.5, and the money line at +124 for Chicago and -148 for Cleveland. The Browns beat the Jaguars 31 to 27 earlier today behind 311 passing yards from 38-year-old Joe Flacco. This was his second consecutive start after signing a practice squad contract with them on November 20, and head coach Kevin Stefanski has already said that Flacco will remain their starter. Chicago’s defense has been getting after opposing quarterbacks since acquiring Montez Sweat, so the immobile Flacco will need to get the ball out quickly to avoid Eberflus’ suddenly frisky pass rush. What are your thoughts on the early odds for the Bears vs. Browns?
