Bears News; 2024 NFL draft: Experts hand out final grades for Bears

The 2024 NFL draft is officially in the books, and the Chicago Bears came out of it with some potential generational prospects and players who could develop into long-term cornerstones.General manager Ryan Poles called this an “impact draft” where he felt the team took “huge strides forward.” That started night one with the additions of quarterback Caleb Williams at first overall and wide receiver Rome Odunze at ninth overall. Those selections made this a home-run draft on its own.But when you look at what Poles did on Days 2 and 3, it’s easy to get excited about the potential of this team — on all phases. They added a versatile offensive lineman in Kiran Amegadjie in the third round, and he’ll have time to develop into a potential starter down the line. Chicago landed a generational punter in Tory Taylor in the fourth round, and he’ll be a weapon for this team. The Bears also traded into the fifth round to select edge rusher Austin Booker, who has incredibly high upside and gets to learn from Montez Sweat.Here’s a collection of all of the grades for the Bears’ draft class from various media outlets, where experts agreed Chicago were among the biggest winners.
