Bears News; Updated offensive tackle depth following the selection of Kiran Amegadjie

The Chicago Bears made a very interesting selection in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft. They went offense for the third straight pick as they selected Yale OT Kiran Amegadjie. This is a guy who has shown versatility throughout his collegiate career and is now looking to play in the NFL on a team that could use the best version of him. Amegadjie isn’t going to come in and just demand the starting left tackle job. There is a bit of development that will be needed for his game to progress. Every general manager in the NFL would agree that having a franchise QB is the key pillar to winning a Super Bowl. The next-most important pillar can be debated between two spots: either a top-flight pass rusher or a high-end left tackle. We don’t know what Amegadjie’s return will be for the Bears, but he will have a chance to develop and show his worth in the coming months and years.
