One week after blowing a 10-plus point fourth quarter lead, the Chicago Bears (6-9) were able to close things out against the Arizona Cardinals (3-12) with a 27-16 gift to fans Sunday at Soldier Field. The Bears doubled their win total from a season ago, and there were definitely things to love about them in this victory. Quarterback Justin Fields had one of his better games of the season, even after losing his top weapons DJ Moore and Cole Kmet to injuries; the Bears defense took care of business and running back Khalil Herbert led a dominant Chicago rushing attack that totaled 250 yards. It’s not a win that’s going to signficantly move any needles, although the Bears still haven’t been eliminated from postseason contention. But this was a game that Chicago needed to win, especially after jumping out to a big lead and starting off slow in the third quarter. Matt Eberflus couldn’t afford back-to-back blown leads. We’re taking a look at the studs and duds from the Bears’ Week 16 win vs. Cardinals.
