The Chicago Bears haven’t been eliminated from postseason contention yet, but the final nail is in the coffin, and the hammer is cocked and ready to pound. The Bears blew another game they had in hand by losing to the Browns 20 to 17 earlier today, and next up for the (5-9) Bears are the (3-11) Arizona Cardinals at Soldier Field. The Cards were just destroyed by the 49ers, 45 to 29, and they are still in contention for the first overall selection in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Bears, via the (2-12) Panthers, are still the favorite to get that pick, but Arizona is jockeying with the (3-11) Patriots. As for Christmas Eve’s Cardinals at Bears game, our friends at DraftKings Sportsbook have the Bears as an early 3-point home favorite. The over/under opened at 44 with the money line at -155 for Chicago and +130 for Arizona. For those of you eyeballing the race for the first overall draft pick, the Carolina Panthers host the Green Bay Packers, while the New England Patriots travel to face the Denver Broncos next Sunday.
