This was the first win against the Lions in the Matt Eberflus era, and also the first time Eberflus has won back-to-back games as a head coach. With this win, the Bears are 5-8 and are (technically) still alive in the playoff hunt. This win is payback from their loss a few weeks ago against the Lions in Detroit. The Bears had a two-possession lead, before giving up 17 points in the final three minutes to lose, 31-26.
