Wizards Get Roasted By Rival Player Amid Awful Start

Image(Photo by Rob Carr/Getty Images)   Things are not working out well for the new-look Washington Wizards. While statistically they may not be the worst team in the league, they are supremely lacking with a 2-10 record. Patrick Beverley of the Philadelphia 76ers has seen enough of the team. Speaking on his podcast, Beverley called the team a “s—show,” and said, “They lose a ton of games.” Pat Bev calls out the Washington Wizards “Sh*tshow. Sh*tshow. They lose a ton of games.” (Via @PatBevPod ) pic.twitter.com/kgvwwxnov1 — NBACentral (@TheDunkCentral) November 20, 2023 It’s hard to argue with Beverley. The Wizards have only won two games so far this season, one against the struggling Memphis Grizzlies and another against the Charlotte Hornets, whose 3-9 record isn’t much better than Washington’s. There was hope for this team during the summer when they made some changes and brought in Jordan Poole from the Golden State Warriors. Some people thought that the combination of Poole and Kyle Kuzma could create a lot of excitement and energy on the team. Instead, this duo has come up short. Although Kuzma is averaging 23.5 points and 5.9 rebounds a game and Poole is putting up 15.5 points and 3.7 assists, the team is still continually falling short. They have now lost five games in a row and are set to face off against the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night. Things are so bad in Washington that there are already rumors of the team shipping Poole away in the near future. Some reporting suggests that the team only acquired Poole because they thought they could rebuild his trade value and then flip him for some positive assets. However, right now his value has surely dwindled because of a few bad performances and such a nightmarish season for the team.
