He won a championship in 2021 with the Bucks over this same Suns franchise as many remember. Budenholzer was fired by the Bucks a summer ago and did not coach this past season. He holds a 484-317 all-time record with a winning percentage of .604. 
John Voita Budenholzer was also the GM in Atlanta from 2014-17, so there is potential for an expanded role. In addition, the Suns are expected to offer lead assistant David Fizdale a new front office role, but a source briefed on Fizdale’s thinking indicated he is currently not expected to accept it.
