Victor Wembanyama already showing signs of competing with Giannis and Embiid

April was the first month in which Victor Wembanyama kept pace with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid in terms of the level of his NBA performances over a sustained period. The season ended up as a major disappointment for the San Antonio Spurs, who missed the playoffs with a 22-60 record. Wembanyama got better month-on-month as the season progressed.
