SB Nation Reacts results: Should the Rockets trade the third overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft?

Image Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports Should the Rockets keep the pick or trade it? Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NBA. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Houston Rockets fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys. This week’s Reacts question is getting a feel for how you’d like the Rockets to handle the upcoming NBA Draft. Houston surprisingly drew the third overall pick when the Brooklyn Nets got some fortunate placement in the NBA Draft Lottery. Now this is regarded as a weak draft, and Houston already has a pretty big group of youngsters vying for court time. Can the roster fit another young piece? It may be a good time to dump the pick for future assets. Although, it’s not often you get the luck of picking above your projected spot, so the Rockets may want to take adavantage of that and get another player. But what did you say, TDS? Image So there you have it. Only 43 percent of Rockets fans think Houston should trade the pick, which means 57 percent of you want the Rockets taking someone they will keep in this year’s draft. Let us know in the comments if you are surprised by that. Thanks for voting, and we’ll be back with more questions soon.
