After missing nine straight games due to an oblique injury, Rockets forward Dillon Brooks returned to the Rockets line up last night against Boston. The Rockets went 4-5 in Brooks' absence. Signed this summer to a massive four year, $86 million contract which will keep him in Houston through 2026-2027, Brooks is enjoying one of the best seasons of his career, averaging 13.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game on 47.4% shooting overall from the field and an impressive 40.5% on 3s. Overall for the year, the Rockets are seventh in defensive rating, giving up 112.1 points per 100 possessions.
