(Photo: Nic Antaya/Getty Images) Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren is expected to miss two weeks after suffering a sprained left ankle in Wednesday’s loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic: Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren is expected to miss two weeks with a sprained left ankle, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Tough blow for the 2-19 Pistons, who have lost 18 in row. Duren is averaging 12.6 PPG, 10.9 RPG, 1.4 BPG but has had injuries to both ankles this year.— Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania) December 7, 2023 Duren, who only recently turned 20 years old, has proven to be one of Detroit’s most intriguing young building blocks during his short career. Unfortunately, he has struggled with nagging ankle injuries and has missed a decent amount of time on the court over his two seasons. Only time will tell if Duren is ready to go in two weeks or if he will simply be re-evaluated when that deadline comes.
