With Kawhi Leonard out for the matchup, Murray explained the Clippers’ health this season, something they have struggled with in recent years. As the lineup changes, more offensive responsibility is shifted to James Harden and Paul George. Murray outlined how the team has stylistically adapted to Harden’s strengths, and the potential weaknesses that come with it that Sacramento could benefit from exploiting. That’s exactly why every team with cap space this offseason should be monitoring his status. Paul George has $48.7-million player option for next season, but Murray explains the Clippers have had an open extension offer to George for some time now. Leonard signed his, Paul George has not yet. While speculation has been floating on that front, Tuesday night’s game between the Kings and Clippers holds substantial weight in the race of the Western Conference as single-digit games remaing in the 2023-24 regular season.
