Rajon Rondo, who has not played on an NBA roster since 2022, confirmed his retirement in a conversation with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson via All the Smoke Productions. The Kentucky product spent one season with the Sacramento Kings from 2015-16 but is best known for his time with the Boston Celtics. The Phoenix Suns selected Rondo with the 21st overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, but the guard was quickly rerouted to Boston, where he spent the first eight and a half years of his 16-year career.
