Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis accomplished multiple feats in Sunday’s win over the Utah Jazz, but one of them puts him in especially unique company. Sabonis finished Sunday’s game with six assists and 11 rebounds, pushing his totals for the year to 1007 rebounds and 615 assists. The only other player to accomplish that statistic was Wilt Chamberlain. The former 76ers center did it twice, first in the 1966-67 season and then again the following year. With his 57th consecutive double-double on the season, Domantas Sabonis now leads the NBA with 70 double-doubles over 74 games played. The Kings big man is one of four players in NBA history to post 70+ double-doubles in a single season, joining Kevin Garnett, Hakeem Olajuwon, and Moses Malone – all Hall of Fame bigs.
